Another case where I'd to stop before I fussed over little bits too much. I suppose this turned out mildly more personal than usual, though I leave interpretation up to the kind viewer: the original idea actually came from seeing a picture of a Victorian lady whose hairdo looked like a pair of headphones and took off from there.
Really ought to paint more so I don't spent so much time going "Aauuugh I do not know how to draw this", some more convincing myself it is possible, and yet more actually figuring out how. Alternatively, sourcing for references before one is done with the sketch, also a potential good idea. Still got a long ways to go in painting people and nonorganic objects clothes (especially them clothes. And lighting, too. And--stopping now), but getting there!

Oh and this is the first piece I've painted using only my own custom brushes! I am quite pleased with them, yay.
