The idea's probably been overdone, but hey, still fun. This's my first foray into a proper traditional piece in over two years, dedicated to the friend who got me a nice set of colored pencils for my birthday last year (yes, it's taken me this long to use 'em).

A little still life is good for the soul! Yes, that's the mouse I'm using now, and my table is that odd shade of green, thanks to my color sense at age six. Alas, I do not own the small furry feline of uncertain origin. It was apparently impossible to find reference of a cat, much less a kitten, in the angle I wanted - so it's pretty much imaginary. Pfeh.

Download for a slightly larger version! I could probably do with a better scanner, colors are a bit off, but this way I can pretend that any lack of detail is entirely the scanner's fault and not mine. Sort of.
