of her gypsy-esque dancer Rhapsody, hope y'like it! Early Christmas present for you, heh. Here she appears to be a toss-up between Ariel and Esmerelda.
Re: title - It was a toss up between that, Rhapsody in Yellow (the dress was once yellow. Some measure of blue shading later, not so much), or The Invisible Balustrade. She was initially supposed to be standing in a balcony overlooking a town or somethin' but...realized I couldn't draw the balustrade, so I gave up on that.
The dress was a struggle (though I'm fairly proud of it for a first try at painting folds properly), as was the hair (never painted wavy hair, also forgot about this at first and had to repaint). Not to mention I'd intended to color this cel-style and inked it, got lazy with the ink job, and ended up painting over everything, the result reminding me of typical Disney animated movie posters. Still gotta learn to define form without overloading detail, mm. Getting there!
Photoshop, Rather Long Time. If anyone wants to see a step-by-step process of this 'un let me know, I actually took a decent number of intermediate screenshots, gasp.
Edit: process here: [link]
